ProChannel Modularity
Now the ProChannel experience further expands with fully modular capability. ProChannel strips can be customized to have any combination of installed modules available on any channel and favorite combinations can be set as default for tracks and busses.
ProChannel Workflow
Navigating the new custom ProChannel is simple and intuitive thanks to “in place scrolling” which allows the ProChannel strip to scroll vertically while the console remains in place. ProChannel modules can also be expanded and collapsed individually preserving valuable screen real-estate.
Each module’s location in the signal path can greatly affect the overall sound of a track. Routing can now be adjusted by moving the actual module itself via simple drag and drop. Signal flow is therefore easily visualized and flows from top to bottom - just like a hardware mixer.
Softube Saturation Knob
Additional modules can now be added to further expand the ProChannel's capabilities. To get your custom collection started, SONAR X1 Producer Expanded includes the Softube Saturation Knob. Softube’s Saturation Knob ProChannel Module borrows from Softube’s famous distortion circuitry modeling and, as found in other other Softube distortion designs, provides smooth, one-knob, frequency saturation for just the right amount of tube warmth on any track.
